American Superconductor’s Saboteur

First Look: Disgruntled ex-employee Dejan Karabrasevic

Dejan Karabrasevic

Dejan Karabrasevic stole American Superconductor’s (AMSC) software technology and sold it to Sinovel—China’s leading wind turbine manufacturer.

Thief Karabrasevic confessed to his crimes and was convicted in an Austrian court today. He was sentenced to serve three years in prison and fined €200K.

This is the first photograph of Karabrasevic—whose greedy involvement in corporate espionage almost destroyed Amercian Superconductor—published in any worldwide news reports associated with the criminal case.

WindSector obtained the photograph shown above last week and worked with reliable sources to confirm that it is Dejan Karabrasevic.
